Susan suggesting Izzy might "Australian on the deal"..............or as I recall it was actually the Welsh nation she was racist to.

I adored the scene with Susan & Elly after the flashback, Jackie took Susan back 14 years in her performance and was in the exact place she was in that scene, winded and the breathy voice was the same.

Yes, great to see Karl and Susan get some decent material to work with at last. I thought maybe Susan's ME was flaring up at the start of that scene. I was worrying Karl and Susan were going the way Lou did when Tom Oliver had reached a certain age as far as the writing goes, so this is good stuff. But oh Karl...seriously?!

What I don't understand is why the hospital wing is reliant on Izzy's donation? They had a plan in place before her pledge, so why not just revert to that if she pulls out? Nothing has been committed to yet if she hasn't ponied up, presumably.

It's a pity it wasn't Mark leaving instead of Tyler. How many years are we going to be following his failed love matches for before he either finally finds happiness and a baby, or just clears off for good?!

Tyler got scrubbed from opening credits pretty quickly. Used to be they would hang around for ages after leaving. Who was the last character that did that, Amber?

Susan was great. Especially with Elly.

To hang around ages? Yes, probably Amber who was about 20 episodes.

Jackie was amazing today. You forget just how good she is when she gets this kind of material.

Nice to see Lauren back briefly.

Dipi was OTT with her reaction to Rafael and I thought she bumped into him, plus that was no way to treat a customer.

Terese faceplanting into the pool was brilliant.

Just watched Wednesday's. Susan hasn't been this good since last time Izzy was around. That first scene especially reminded me of the Publish and be Damned era.

Me too.

I think these episodes must be with the new cameras, the scenes look really crisp and the colours sharp, whereas everything had a bit of a haze to it a couple of weeks ago.

Dipi was really rude! It was a pretty badly written scene in all fairness.

I love drunk Terese! In all fairness with a daughter as lousy as Piper I'd turn to drink too. Really not liking both Piper and Paige at the moment. Such totally self absorbed characters.
