Not sure liked an episode with just those 4. Glad it out in the open early tho. Cheating runs in the family Brad Lauren Amber Paige

Hadn’t been looking forward to this episode but I was pleasantly
surprised. It was so nice to have the show out on location in the bush, reminded me of the type of stuff the show used to do a lot more. Ok, Jack’s a snore fest and we really couldn’t care less about him but the emotional fall out with Mark, Paige and Steph was really well done. I liked it a lot. And yes, good to have the secret emerge early in the episode rather than dragging it out for the whole thing.

I really feel sorry for Steph and I actually feel bad for Mark.

Did work as a four character episode.

You sometimes forget just how good Carla Bonner is. Her quiet upset/rage was really finely acted in an unusual non-soapy restrained way.

I presume that the point of this episode from a production perspective was to have another unit without needing to use one of the sets or backlots so they could film the party scenes for last week. The majority of Friday was on the backlot too.

I liked the episode though, written by Jason Herbison too. The only thing that didn’t quite work for me was Mark’s subtle anger against Paige’s almost hysterical begging for forgiveness. From past scenes the subtle was the better way for Scott McGregor to go, but I felt like Paige’s reaction was as if he had been yelling at her.

Totally agree - she was super today and there is so much history with Steph, it makes it even more impactful.

And to be honest, I'd partially say the same for Mark - hes been around 6-7 years now, thats quite a good stint in terms of getting to know a Neighbours character.

I agree, given there was a time where it felt like we’d never have anyone stick around past two/three years again, we ended up with Lucas (5 years), Chris (5 years), Kyle (8 years), Sonya (9 years and counting) and Mark (7 years and counting). We really needed that.

Now we’ve got Sheila (6 years and counting) and Terese (5 years and counting) too.

Wow. You do forget just how long some of the characters have been around for.

I am just loving every single scene with Izzy, Susan and Karl. It’s such a pay off for long term viewers. I liked Dipi’s watchful eye too!

Feeling for Steph.

Mishti is becoming a seriously annoying one note character.
