Episodes 7776-7780 (Block 1556)

I’m assuming that like with the hotel explosion that the last night episode will share a number with the Tuesday episode.

Karl said to Ben “Tyler will want to spend some time with Piper, won’t she?”

I half expected the glass to lie in the pool unnoticed for a few weeks.

I've watched the last 2 weeks of episodes in 4 days and it's been a slog, I am hoping the tide has turned. I

So Stu, Stonie, Angie and Big Kev? I can't wait to see all the costumes...

Yep, it's been a frustrating first few weeks of the year - I'm really hoping this marks a new era tonight.

I liked the tension of the broken glass in the swimming pool and Karl interfering in The Helen Daniels Wing.

Garden Gnome Killer plot is so boring and dated at this stage. Does anyone care now?

That glass stuff was surprisingly dark and effective considering the threats of Neighbours' villains tend to amount to ridiculous snakes and the like. :mrs:

Although my mind was more on thinking that they can’t be putting glass in the real pool of the house and couldn’t decide if it was sugar glass or ice.

Ha! I had the same thought. It did look a lot like sugar glass when he was throwing it in.

The glass along with poisoning poor Clementine is extremely dark stuff for Neighbours, I could imagine some parents being a bit uncomfortable with their kids seeing that, however for adult viewers it is far better than the usual stuff villains do.

Karl pretending to want to have brunch with Ben just so he could eavesdrop was hilarious. The problem is they have him taking it too seriously now - it was better when he just wanted to have it named after him and Susan thought he had a big ego. Now he seems to be getting genuinely angry about it which removes some of the comedy element.

I hope Stonie does come to the party - all 3 brothers together for the first time. The Rebecchi brothers blow the Brennans out of the water every time!

Well anyway looking forward to the 10pm special, is this something they're doing every 2 years now or what?

Loved the intro and how they pretended to go into the titles.

I do feel this would be a lot better at attracting lapsed viewers if the murder weapon wasn’t a gnome.

Leo called Paul, Dad!

Mark as Paul McGann’s Doctor Who!

Why does commercial music in neighbours give me such a thrill?

This is so fun and vibrant and full of energy.

Izzy's return scene was fantastic.
