There was.

Me too, best cop we’ve had in a while. He seems very competent so far and very much a Poirot kind of detective.

Remember the great Detective Illich in the mid 90s?!

I'm already missing the strangely captivating voice of Hamish.

Detective Skinner was the best one! What surprises me is that Brennan was a detective years ago, re-joined the force as a basic plod, and yet after all this time that's what he still is, despite his previous experience.

I must have missed the update on Piper but I meant they didn't show anything of the boat, and again today. Has Piper figured out how to get out of that room yet? (hint - the door doesn't look all that strong Pipes!)

I think that was Piper's phone that floated to shore.

Why didn't Gary just tell Terese what was going on and they could have pretended to break up, or she could have adjusted the check in time herself?! :/ The whole thing is stupid anyway - just because Hamish died at their house, doesn't make Sheila or Gary the prime suspect, they would need some kind of evidence to show they actually did it. I don't think they have given the cause of death yet have they? But lets say it was drowning - are we really to believe Sheila could overpower Hamish? Maybe Gary could but there'd be evidence of a struggle, which is where they'd find DNA samples. They just seem to be going to a lot of trouble to get an alibi if they didn't actually do it (though from what Gary said he may have done it accidentally?)

He said himself she got in lot of trouble messing with evidence with Josh's trial he would not put her at risk like that

My theory is Shelia came home found the body freak out called Gary and that the phone call we saw him take. But if he did kill Hamish by accident than ruins the who done it mystery and don't see the show giving that up too easy
